Dear site visitor,

Thank you for viewing this site’s information about my family’s burden for the lost people of Uruguay.  I am convinced that we are living in the “end times” and that it is “high time to awake out of sleep”.  Of all the countries in South America, Uruguay is the least evangelized, with a full 30% of the population claiming no religion at all.  It is time to take the light of the Gospel into the darkness of Uruguay.

After nine years in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and officer, flying combat missions into Iraq and Afghanistan, I heard God’s call into foreign missions.  Believing God was calling me into some aspect of the ministry many years earlier, I earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Bible from Pensacola Christian College in 1995.  I believe God used this training and my experiences in the Air Force to prepare me for life in a foreign country.  My wife who was born to Independent Baptist missionaries on the field of El Salvador, speaks fluent Spanish already, and having grown up on the mission field, is already quite familiar with the demands she will face.

If you are an independent Baptist pastor or missions director interested in scheduling a meeting, please contact me at sclark2@baptistworldmission.org or by phone at (843) 767-8239.  We are currently traveling in the Southeastern US and the greater Indianapolis areas.  I would love an opportunity to share our work with you.
